An army of “ninja” content publishers

We’ve introduced decentralized content publishing one year ago and were facing the challenge as to which content publisher could be given direct publish rights vs. those that still needed to be monitored by the central team.

Following the idea of Atlassian Confluence ninjas, we decided to introduce 4 levels based on the following criteria:

White Belt

  • You have been designated as content publisher by your Intranet Coordinator
  • You have successfully passed the Intranet Awareness Programme

Yellow Belt

  • Your account has been created
  • You have been coached to use the authoring tool
  • You have access to the online Authoring Community

Green Belt

  • You are able to add, update and remove content by yourself
  • Your publication requests are monitored by the Intranet team to ensure that the layout and Intranet standards are respected

  • Your publication requests constantly meet publication standards
  • You have requested direct publishing rights
  • Your access rights have been modified to allow you to publish directly

Do you also have your army of “ninja” content publishers?
